Rooibos

This is a red tea produced in Cedarberg, South Africa.
 
Originally produced at the turn of the centrury leaves of the Aspalathus Linearis plant where harvested dried and rolled to produce a tea which contains no caffiene and used to sooth headaches, digestive problems and disturbed sleep patterns.
 
There have been studies to show Rooibos as a having  potention imune- modulating and chemopreventive effects.
 
A South Africa study showed humans drinking 6 cups a day reduced markers associated with heart disease.
